Capitol Visitor Center

Washington, DC

Encompassing 580,000 square feet on three levels below ground, the new Capitol Visitor Center in Washington DC officially opened December 2008. Fireart Glass furnished diffusers for much of the project, including the 60” pendants in Emancipation Hall (shown). Selected by lighting contractor Winona Lighting, Fireart fabricated shades for nearly 200 fixtures in eight different styles for this landmark building.
